Located in the eastern section of Susquehannock State Forest. From Wharton, take Rt.872 N then turn left onto Portage Rd. This is a State Forest gravel road. Look for the sign for the Friendship Inn. Past the Inn, bear left at the "Y" in the road and continue up the mountain until the road ends at Ridge Rd. Turn right onto Ridge Rd. and park at the first overlook vista.
The cache is a 9mm ammo box approx. 240 feet off of the road. It is filled with a variety of items to trade. Please sign the log book and take a picture with the disposable camera. We will post the pictures when full. Be sure to log your visit online. This is an easy cache to find for cache and dashers. Enjoy the beautiful overlook view and take some time to have a picnic next to the rock wall.
