In Greenland we saw Cottage where the Danish Television made a Christmas story back in 1989 and it was sendt out once more in dec. 1996, a story called "Nissebanden".
You have to be in good condition and like a little bit of climbing. Start in Hotel Umanaq and borrow the key for the cottage you can also ask for directions here or just go to the orphant nursery home and look around for Stones that are painted Yellow and follow the stones for about 2 km.
Take the time you need and enjoy the view over the fjord.
If you go in wintertime you can hire a dogsled to bring you here.
The cache is a glassjar and it is placed between 2 rocks and covered with 2 small stones.
The cache contents:
1 Compas
1 pack of matches
1 sewing kit
2 Batteries AA
1 Goofy hanger
1 logbook
Admin note: cache placed on vacation, geocacher unaware of prohibition against placing caches that can't be maintained. There are no local geocachers in this area at this time. If there is one later who could adopt the cache it would be appreciated. If the cache is found to be in poor condition by a finder please remove it and ask the cache owner to archive it. Thanks.
