This is a multi cache. Coordinates are for the parking area. You
will need paper and pencil to do some figuring. There is a part
where you will see how accurate your eyes and your GPS really
are.
This begins in McCurdy Park's Historic Village and ends on a nice
long walk on the James Miner River Walkway. The Walkway goes from
McCurdy Park in Corunna, along the Shiawassee River for
approximately 2 ½ miles to Curwood Castle in Owosso. It goes behind
the Owosso airport so you may get to see a takeoff or landing as we
did while placing it. It is a nice, long, quiet walk or bike ride.
There is quite a bit of wildlife. We saw rabbits, and a fox pup
while traveling the path. Unfortunatly, every time we go to the
final cache we notice more broken glass (not new, just keeps
surfacing). Have tried to clean it up each time. Thanks for your
help too!
Step 1:
a: Find the name of a sour school in the Historical Village.
Convert the letters using A=1, B=2, C=3, etc. Add all five letters
for the sum.
b: At the Playscape Donor sign find our national bird Club Lodge
#.
AA = sum of letters in name of sour school
B.BB = Lodge # + 17.
Step 2: Snake Tree 42 AA.119 N 084 0B.BB2 W
This micro has coordinates for the next step.
Please replace this exactly where you found it.
The River Walkway is across the river. There is a bridge at the
back of the Playscape.
