Mooseflex: Hey all, I've decided to archive this cache and remove it.
I've been hearing a lot about geocaching and how it's doing a lot of
damage to ecosystems, because it is basically causing all these people to go off trail and walk back and forth looking for the caches. Since not everyone comes from the same place, basically everyone walks a different line and usually walk back and forth several times until they find the cache. There have been 70 something finds, and most people come in pairs or more. I figure that's at least 130 or so people who have been off trail looking for this cache, so I've decided to remove it.
I may put a new cache in the preserve, but if I do it will be next to an established trail. Geocaching is great fun and an awesome way to find cool new places, but I was saddened to hear about it's negative effects. My next cache will take this into account. Thanks for everyone who's come to find it, don't feel bad, I don't think we've done much damage[:D]
