Found this spot looking at area rocks for fossils (found none) and thought of it when I began placing Geocaches out. I made it a quickie because it is Mosquitoville in summertime!
Park at N34 20.653 W084 38.591, this is a small pulloff on the main road. I do not recommend this one for kids as you have to cross the road to get to the site and is situated in a curve. It's a quick find, I made no effort to really hide it where it rests, but it is hidden from plain view. Make use of the Mosquito spray in the cache if you didn't put any on before getting underway. I called it 'Second Glance Cove' because at first glance, it is a beautiful and tranquil spot, with ferns (and poison oak) and has flowing streams, very relaxing. At second glance and walking around a bit, you will soon notice it at one time was a local dumping ground for tires, appliances and anything else. Cache is hidden in a small popcorn tin, painted camoflauge colors and labeled "GEOCACHE" in bright letters that hopefully you will see if everyone places it back in same position.

I was surprised the GPS would pull a good signal with the canopy, but I had no problems. There currently aren't any caches in the immediate area, so I felt this would be a good start...
As of Januaru 1st 2009, all of my caches will be exempt from logging for challenges, games, series or other bookmarked nonsense dragging down the sport. Any finds will be deleted.
