Good walking trails, but some uphill. No problem for children. No pets are allowed. Available sunrise to sunset. Cache is in an ammo box.
This cache is located on the hiking trails of Fields Pond Nature Center in Holden. Fields Pond Road intersects with both Wiswell Rd. in Brewer or Brewer Lake Rd. in Brewer/Orrington. Parking lot is located at N44° 44.331 W068° 43.646. From the parking lot you can pick up the trails near the Nature Center Building. Additional parking cacn be found at the boat launch where adjoining trails can be accessed which also lead to the cache. Maps are available for the trails. Winter "findability" will depend on the amount of snow on the ground. The container is a plastic ammo box.
