Cache is located close to a trail, close to top of Puffer Butte. Altitude is 4550.
The cache is in Field Springs State Park which is open for hiking in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter, although the cache might be under too much snow in the winter to be able to find it. The cache is a standard size ammo can. The loop trail is about 2 1/2 miles long.
