Nose to the Grindstone Traditional Cache
MidMoDave: Decided to go ahead and archive this cache. It's probably the most lame cache in the Grindstone Nature Area and with new rules coming from Columbia Parks I figured the one was a 'no-brainer' to pull in. Thanks for playing!! I'll use the contents in another new cache to be placed soon!!

A quick easy micro in one of Columbia's more natural parks.
Because we had our 'nose to the grindstone' by attempting the nearby Capen Park cache (took us FOUR times!), we figured that would be a good name for this cache!
Not too many years ago, before they built the montrous pedestrian bridge down stream a bit, crossing the creek here was the main way into the trails here. It sure made the whole park seem like a more natural area. Most of the time it was easy to cross the creek. Sometimes it wasn't. Alas, progress is progress and now there is a bridge. But you can still cross the creek the 'old fashioned' way--and find a cache while you're at it!! This would be a great place to bring the kids for a little rock skipping, etc. Mine sure love this spot.
It's a small cup size plastic container, so there's room for little stuff. Please make sure to carefully return it to it's hiding spot and re-hide it. This is a busy area, so it's survivabilty is directly related to how well everyone keeps it hidden. Don't attempt if the water is up. Also, the area is a bit slippery when wet, so be careful.
This would be a great cache to do on the way to the caches Capen Park, Burr Oak Tree, Currency Exchange, Cicada Serenade or Murder-one of the best multicaches I've done.
