This cache is easy to get to and easy to find. It is in a very scenic location along the old White Mountain Apache Railroad.
White Mountain Railroad Cache is located along the old White Mountain Apache Railroad grade (See (visit link) for further information). You get to the cache on FR 112 between SR 260 and SR 273. It is a beautiful location and your'e as likley to see wildlife along the way as not. The cache was started during a Venture Scout outing for young men from North Mesa. They donated to help begin the cache. I had just presented a GPS and GeoCaching activity to them and this was one of the cache locations.
Take a hike along the grade and spend some time in the area. The railroad had quit hauling logs and was a scenic tourist railroad in the 70's. I remember riding it as a youth.
