Semur-En-Auxois
lies in the heart of Burgundy in France. It is one of the 88 most
protected towns in France. It still has its 11th - 12th century
fortification walls and towers intact. It sits on red granite rock
and is almost surroundeded by the meandering river Armançon.
Semur-En-Auxois is just 7 km off the Autoroute de Sud (A6), at the
exit Bierre-le-Semur, - 200 kilometers south of Paris and 280 km
north of Lyon. The cache is actually situated at Lac de Pont, a
popular recreation place for locals and tourists alike.

The cache is a very small tupperware box with a green label on the
lid.
The Cache contains:-
- A log book (please leave in cache)
- A smurf
- A toy car
- Mints
- Kinder toy
- Cocktail umberella
Note on cache maintenance: "My friends who live in
Semur (2 miles away) are going to maintain the cache for me. Jodie
has registered on the site as babalamb and visits the cache site to
go walking on a weekly basis."
