Die Stelle für diesen Cache habe ich vor etwa 25 Jahren entdeckt. Und da die Gegend auch landschaftlich sehr ansprechend ist, war mal ein kleiner Besuch fällig. Bei der Gelegenheit mußte in dieser 'cachefreien Zone' natürlich auch was getan werden. Schon wegen der reizvollen Landschaft im Thüringer Schiefergebirge.
Wenn man schon mal da ist, auch gleich die Staumauer (ca. N50 31.487 E11 42.859) und ein Naturdenkmal (ca. N50 31.243 E11 44.101) mitnehmen (Nein! Nur anschauen, nicht einstecken ;-). Diese Koordinaten (aber nur diese) sind leider ungenau, weil nachträglich ermittelt. Sie sollten aber leicht zu finden sein, weil 1. sehr groß und 2. direkt an der Straße gelegen.
So, jetzt wieder zum eigentlichen Punkt des Interesses. Ob man von N od. S an den Cache herangeht, es ist eine Steigung (od. ein Gefälle) von stellenweise über 100%! (45 Grad) zu erwarten. Eine spezielle Ausrüstung ist aber nicht zwingend erforderlich; ich war mit meinem 7-jährigen dort.
An der richtigen Stelle angekommen ist in Richtung N eine kleine Mauer mit Durchbruch. Vom Durchbruch ca. 5m nach Norden, ca. 7m nach Westen und 3m wieder Norden. Punktlandung garantiert.
Ausrüstung:
- 'Grundausstattung für den kleinen Geocacher' (selbstverständlich)
- Taschenlampe(n)
- Kompass
Zusatzausrüstung für weitere Erkundung des Areals:
- Ersatzbatterien für Taschenlampe(n)
- Kerzen
Der Besuch des Caches erfolgt auf eigene Gefahr.

I discovered the place for this cache about 25 years ago. And as the area is pretty scenic, a little visit was overdue. At this occasion there had to be done something in this "cachefree area". If only for the marvelous scenery in the m Thuringian Slate Mountains.
Once you are there, make sure to visit the damm (about N50 31.487 E11 42.859) and natural monument (about N50 31.243 E11 44.101). These coordinates (and only these) unfortunately are a bit inacurate, because taken afterwards. Nevertheless they should be easy to find, because 1. pretty big and 2. close to the street.
Now back to the point of interest.
Whether you approach the cache from N or S, there is a slope (or incline) of sometimes more than 100%! (45 degree) to be expected. Special equipment is not needed, I was there wis my 7 year old son.
Arrived at the right spot, there is a little wall with a opening in the north. From the opening approximately 5 meters north, about 7 meters west and again 3 meters north. Exact hit guaranteed!
