4x4 highly recommended unless you are wanting to punish your car!. Located only .82 mile from end of payment, BUT as the crow flies...
Bad Dawg 83's first cache, 79jeeper & T-Hs helped to hide this and it's in a doozy of a spot, we think!
Located in a National Forest in an area frequented by brave 4x4 souls (and the occasional dimwitted 2x2 idjits), this cache lies waiting to be found. As you close in on the cache, be careful of the natural, smooth-bottomed waterslide that is nearby, lots of fun for those who know its there, probably not it you slipped...Nice pool of mountain water below to slide down into it. We've seen it done, but just don't have the nerve to try it ourselves.
Cache is in a Camo'd ammo box tucked away near the waterslide. It has lots of goodies to trade with, we want to hear about your experience finding it. Be aware that the rangers look out for ATV and dirtbikes as this is a public access road...be careful. The side road leading to the cache has been blocked by mother nature. It will require a short but scenic hike.
