This cache is located in the seaside resort town of Giardini Naxos, about halfway down the east coast of Sicily, between Messina and Catania. It isn't hard to reach, from the bus station at Recanati it is about a 15 minute walk. The bus stops at Taormina Giardini Train Station. The cache is by the ocean, and I advise you to have a map of the town so you can get there.
This is probably the only cache that is big enough for travel bugs on this side of the island, and the town is worth visiting for the beach and the gelato. You can visit the original Greek settlement of Naxos at the archeological museum a short distance away, or take the bus to Taormina.
