Jack's Pond is a little known park that was developed two years ago, from an old ranch site. The old barn is still there and has been turned into a nature center that is open on a limited basis or by appointment. There is also a children's play area and if the restrooms are locked, porta potties are close by for your enjoyment.
The cache is located in an ammo tin, close to a little picnic area in Jack's Pond Park. You can either park on the street or if the gate is open, drive down into the parking lot area. There is no bushwacking required. The cache is in an area where poison oak and poison sumac grow, but the cache is not located in those areas. Also, please be aware that you do not need to cross the fence. The contents of the cache are as follows:
