Geocache Description:

Saturday 16th August. An afternoon get together to swap travel bugs and meet other geocachers.
You don't have to bring a travel bug to attend

The Event.

Got a travel bug and stuck for a cache to place it in? This happens to us from time to time, so I'm sure that others have the same problem.

Bring your Bugs (old or new) to this cache event and trade them with other cachers.

There are 8 bugs recently arrived from the USA that need to be relocated around the country, take one home with you.

Any bugs that want to go Stateside?
One of our local cachers is going to the US a few days after the event and will take any bugs you have with him.

Check your bugs into the Event Cache page in advance and then other can see their goals and plan accordingly.

The Location

The Angel in Morley near Leeds at 2pm. This is one of those big "eatery" pubs that are so popular these days. It has a hotel/motel thingy attached but thankfully the Wacky Warehouse has but the dust. They serve meals all day every day and unlike other such establishments, they do serve hand-pulled real ale.

The Angel is less than five minutes from Jct27 of the M62 and 10 minutes from the M1/M62 junction.

There is a series of three caches within walking distance that many of the locals have done, but will provide a challenge for visitors from further afield.

Extras

Mark (The Cat) will be there and will be able to supply a full range of Geocaching.com merchandise as well as GeocacheUK stuff. Take a look at his on-line catalogue ( http://www.trbf.com/acatalog/ )and email him in advance to make sure he brings along what you want.

Come and join us for an opportunity to meet fellow geocachers and exchange travel bugs and geocaching experiences.

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

Two rarely seen items will be attending the picnic. A Canadian Geocoin (visit link) and a Texas Geocoin (visit link) they will behanded over on the day to anyone who will place them in a cache that we know will not get plundered.
