Geocache Description:

Cypress Bend Park in New Braunfels

This park is in a beautiful area next to the river, but is not well known except to New Braunfels residents. Bring your swimsuit & take a dip in the Guadalupe river while you're there. Avoid approaching the park from Loop 337-->Common Street on summer weekends due to Schlitterbahn traffic coming from IH35. Cache is partway up the hill, at the base a large tree. Cache contains a USAA slinky, shell necklace, AA batteries & German Kinder toys. Park is open 8am to dusk. Additional note: If you're approaching via Peace Ave, the park entrance on the left just past the cemetery. (If you try to get to the cache through the cemetery, you'll end up falling down the hill with Bilderback.)
