rising to 4535 feet, Wolf Rock is a 900 foot monolith. It offers both serious multi-pitch technical climbing as well as some airy scrambles that an adventurous hiking climber can handle. It should only be attempted in dry conditions since the moss and rocks on the scrambling route can be very slippery when wet.

There are many routes to take up Wolf Rock. Routes exist on the north, west and southwest sides. The less-technical route is on the southwest side. For the less-technical route plug these cordinates into your GPS as a route.
1. 44 17.901, 122 09.024 This is a nice parking area
2. 44 17.921, 122 09.084 steep trail goes up through the trees and comes out near the Amphitheater.
3. 44 17.983, 122 09.105 The trail goes back into the forest to the left.
4. 44 18.045, 122 09.284. this is the end of the trail. Start scrambling your way up the rock.
5. 44 18.127, 122 09.182. You are near the top. Just walk along the top towards the cache.
6. 44 18.147, 122 09.010. This is the cache.
The cache is a small ammo box. I put some trade items and a logbook with pens. There is also a first finders reward. You will also find two other logbooks filled with entries of other hikers and climbers that have successfully conquered Wolf Rock dating back to 1964. Very Awesome reading. After logging visit you will need to email me the password included on the stash note.
