The waypoint listed is
for the first picture clue just to help you along your way which is located on
the corner of Truman Lane and Tip Lane, Te Munga, Mount Maunganui.
Firstly:
There are 5 pictures complete with distances to help
you locate the first waypoint to start this multicache....
Secondly:
This multicache is based on Mauao (Bay of Plenty) by
klaymen (GC5FE5) cache so if you have already done this one, it will help.
Please whatever you do, don't swim in or drink
the water found here as it could make you rather sick due to it being treated
effluent. If attempting near or after dark, it may pay to have good insect
repellent as the mosquito's tend to be man eaters. Could be a great spot to
bring a mountain bike etc. Also when entering here, the road sign says it is a
private road which is incorrect as this is a very public reserve.
Also don't take your car into the reserve as the
forestry type gate could be locked at any time due to recent boy racers and
their unwanted antics !!!
I have Replaced this cache in a flood-proof spot after
the original one floated away.... (20th Sept. 04)
