Elsinore View Traditional Cache

An easy drive by cache with a beautiful view of the lake below. I highly recommend purchasing a Forest Adventure Pass which allows you to park within the Cleveland National Forest. But this cache will not take you more than 5 minutes. You won't need to lace up the hiking boots. Just get out the camera and maybe use your hiking stick to poke around the cache before making your extraction. You never know where snakes may lurk.
I had been driving this road quite a few times this summer on my way to other caches and to do some 4 wheeling at Wildomar OHV. I had always been in such a hurry that I never pulled over to admire the view. I realized the only way that I would eventually stop would be if I planted a cache. So with new cache box in the truck I did just that. I hope you enjoy the cache and the view.
