Geocache Description:

The "quattro luci", a Partisans base in the flat lands north of Bologna

In a land where some people thinks there is nothing to see, here is a nice place full of suggestions. It's said to have been a base of resistance fighters during years 1943-1945, and it's locally named "le quattro luci", you will see for yourself why. If you arrive there when sun is going down, you can easily meet a lot of interesting birds like the "airone cinerino", or the "cavaliere d'Italia", or the "falco di palude", and, of course, lots of mosquitos... :-) Look in the water, and you will see small groups of fishes swimming one aside the others. When you arrive on site, use caution: you have to walk
down, among the grass and maybe some nettle. A mountain bike will help you coming close to the spot, but if you have a couple of hours, you can even walk. I suggest parking your car here:

N 44° 40.358
E 11° 37.375

or here:

N 44° 40.729
E 11° 35.526

The cache contains a pinky dog, a nice piece of soap from a classy hotel and a pencil eraser. You will also find a log and a pencil, gift of IKEA :-)
