Tech Trade Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

iota: Confirmed that the cache is gone. Appears to have been stolen, as both containers are nowhere to be found and the area is basically undisturbed.

Thanks to everyone who made this cache great -- I will be putting out another Tech Trade (with a much bigger container) in a different park in the same area soon.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

A large, clear plastic container with a white screw-on lid. The cache is well hidden right near a great little nature trail in Upper Arlington. Park to the east of the cache for a short bushwackey walk in, or park to the west and follow the nature trail (and then bushwack :)

This cache is unique in its theme -- all techie items. Wires and cords, connectors, little pieces and parts for computers and other techno geek projects. Please try to trade with the theme -- if you have some random cable or tech part laying around the house and don't know what it goes to -- throw it in! The intial contents should give you an idea of the type of things to try to trade, but if you really need something from the cache to finish some top secret project, feel free to snag it and just leave something cool.

Enjoy the cache, should be a simple find for expert cachers but a hard one for those who don't think "Hey, that's a great spot for a cache!" whenever they see a crevice or fallen tree. If you work a geek job, you can probably do this cache on your lunch break, park just to the east of the coordinates and hunt for it.

After rain, this area could be slippery, so keep an eye on your children-- we hid the cache in a high-and-dry area but if you head down you could skid into a little creek.

The area has plenty of tree cover to scramble your GPS, so I may go back with two GPS's to get a more accurate coordinates.
