Located in the middle of Southampton's busy shopping district, lies the ancient Bar gate, still an imposing landmark on the modern high street.
Visible on the web cam is the new shopping complex of west quay (the large roof protruding over the street) and the bar gate is visible under this.
Standard web cam cache.... you go there and someone sat at his or her pc takes a picture of you!
