How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Heiberg Forest is reached by taking the Tully-Truxton Road from Tully. Turn onto Maple Ridge Road; the last parking area places you closest to the cache.

This cache is a .50 caliber ammo can and should be winter accessible unless the snow is deep. There are several ways into the cache, with the longer routes offering easier access than the direct route through the woods. Be wary of posted signs--no need to cross these areas to find the cache! There's a camera in the cache; please take a photo of yourself and let us know when it's full. We'll post some cache photos on the web.
Keep watch for the red-spotted newts and the toads that helped name this cache. Heiberg is full of great wildlife.
This is a first cache to hide for us. We hope you have as much fun finding it as we did hiding it!
