This cache is located in University Park. I have been going to this park almost everyday for two years and never knew the actual name of the park. The IWMP is located here, but you'll figure that out when you arrive.
The cache is a decon container. It's contents include:
Flossmoor's Geocoin - Bravo
A Quarter
Smiley Face stickers for those tiny caches or just in case you need a smile that day.
Two AA batteries for the cacher in need.
A log, a pencil and a pencil sharpener.
This park has a lot of foot traffic during the day so please be discreet when removing and replacing the cache. It was difficult to place the cache so that it wouldn't be seen so please try to hide it back so that it cannot be seen by noncaching folk. My GPS was giving me some funny readings so let me know if the coords are off.
The park is full of statues, monuments, a beautiful fountain and rich history. It's a nice history lesson for children and adults alike.
A history plaque is located at each corner of the park.
There is plenty of parking along the street.
