From US 260, take FR 117 to turnoff to Green's Peak on FR 61. Then, take FR 61C to the lookout tower. Follow the road past all of the towers and buildings. Continue on this jeep trail to the end, park here, and "sneak your peek". Then, follow your GPS from there. You'll need to walk about 500 feet into the densely-wooded spruce forest.
THIS IS A THEME CACHE. PLEASE KEEP THE THEME GOING BY PLACING ITEMS IN THE CACHE THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE THEME WHICH IS: ITEMS THAT ARE GREEN.
This is Team Couch Potato's fourth cache. All of our caches will be "theme" caches. That is, all items in the cache container will relate in some way.
The cache container is a plastic storage bin. It contains a wide variety of green items. Be imaginative and creative with your green items, and please help us to perpetuate the theme of this cache. WE RETAIN THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ITEMS THAT DO NOT MAINTAIN THE THEME OF THIS CACHE; WE WILL MOVE SUCH ITEMS TO OTHER CACHES. TRAVEL BUGS ARE WELCOME!
This forest has a uniqueness to it since it is almost entirely spruce. Enjoy the green!
