Geocache Description:

Easy short walk, good swimming and fishing. Cache contains log book and pencils. (Too small for trinkets) Take a picture with GPSr in hand if possible, and e-mail.

The Frog Rock cache is somewhat bigger then the typical film container. It is hidden very well due to amount of people that frequent the area , non-geocachers would not readily spot it. The cache is just off a trail which leads to Frog Rock from RT#666. Art work was done by locals some years ago, a 72 year old man said it was there when he was a young boy; it is still maintained by the locals, but artist and maintenance people remain unknown. This popular swimming hole is located on Tionesta Creek and is a favorite stop-off spot for canoers , rafters and tubers. This beautiful area is near the state forest where backpacking, hiking, fishing and hunting is popular among tourists. This cache is suitable for the whole family, so when you come, bring the kids and let them swim awhile and perhaps bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the large rocks along the shore. Coordinates for parking are: N41 34.305 and W079 13.750.
