Geocache Description:

This cache is overlooking Milton-Freewater. Not a Multi Cache. If anyone knows how to change the cache type please tell me.

This used to be a multi cache but due to trouble keeping the first stage above ground we simply made it a regular cache.

This also used to be a bigger cache but it was hard to keep it hidden.

You can park on the residential streets near the site. It is a short hike up into the wheat fields above the city. We rated the terrain a 2 because it is not readily accessible to wheelchairs or strollers. It is a dirt road but relatively steep. There is no access to cars so you have to hike it. It is located in an old historic place that is unfortunately not maintained by the city.

This cache is a film canister. On April 21 of 2005 we replaced the container and all the contents in the cache. Again on 05/25/2009 we had to replace it becase the container went missing and the contents left at the hide site. This is now a small canister in hopes that it will last longer. WHEN REHIDING PLEASE DO NOT USE PARTS OF HEAD STONES TO HIDE THE CACHE. THANK YOU.
