Jurassic Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Blind Umpire: Unfortunately I don't have time nowadays to get this up and running again. FWIW, the "lost" cache container was found on a beach in Seattle. Apparently someone found the container and brought it home with them only to toss it overboard when they got there...

Geocache Description:

A walk in the park. Suitable for all ages and abilities. Can be reached by car or boat.

Following my theme as of late, This is another micro cache located in Gig Harbor. This one is in a waterfront park called Jerisich (Jair-uh-sich) Park. The locals call it Jurassic Park. There is a float to tie your boat up to if need be. If arriving by car, park somewhere by the flag pole. Walk into the park and past the bronze statue of Jerisich the fisherman. Continue onto the wooden deck and walk over by the ramp that leads down to the float but don't go down it. Instead, go stand in the corner closest to the ramp. You will now be kitty-corner to the restrooms. Reach up and over the railing and you will feel a round Altoids tin. The tin is Velcroed to the underside of the railing, so just twist it back and forth a little and the bottom of the tin will come off leaving the top still attached. Inside is a notebook and pencil with no room for anything else. This park sees lots of visitors when the weather is nice so try not to be seen! The park never closes, so it would be an easy one to take at night if you're into that sort of thing. It's also just a short walk to another cache called "Old Ferry Landing". Have fun!
