Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the entrance to a Titan II missile site. It is Davis Monthan Air Force Base Site 13.

***DO NOT ENTER THE MISSILE SITE***
The site is private property and is well marked. There is a 10-15 foot chain link fence with razor wire on top all the way around the site. The fence and entrance gate are covered with no trespassing signs. Besides the cache IS NOT located in the site. Rather it is placed in the Right of Way for Anway Road just outside the gate. The cache is hidden to avoid it being disturbed. You can see some dirt piles and cement buildings from the cache site.

The original cache, which was placed on 17 August 2003, was washed away in a summer flood and subsequently archived. The cache was reactivated on 17 January 2004 as a camouflaged coffee can, and was hidden in a safer place a few yards from the original spot. The coffee can lid wore out and became worthless so the cache was replaced with a moderately large Ammo Can on 28 July 2007.
