Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the far end of the Peterborough Zoo in the Frisbee golf (frolf) area / picnic area. The sign as you come in the parking lot says no dogs, but I have seen many walking around in my time there. This is a simple cache, but you need to either play the course or walk around the course matching the descriptions of the holes to the clues to get the information you need to find the final cache location. The initial coordinates listed are to the parking area and have nothing to do with the final cache location.

The coordinates are set up as AB CD.EFG North and HIJ KL.MNO West. Most holes have a description listed below, but not all. I have tried not to jumble them up too much, but some may be out of order slightly. There is only one description per hole. Remember that we read top to bottom left to right and a final note to check your math and remember BEDMAS. Have fun and have a great round of frolf.

___ ___ ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___ North ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___ West
A B C D . E F G H I J K L . M N O

1. Easiest hint, on the first hole take the meters #, (look close) and subtract by 26.
[AB = Meters – 26].

2. Looking between two cedars makes this hole very challenging. Take the fourth number = C and the sixth number = L.

3. The shortest hole on the course and there seem to be trees everywhere. Turn to your right and there is a nice place to have a picnic after the round. The second number – 5 = H.

4. You must throw over the path and choose the right basket to shoot at, actually one on the left behind garden. Take the first number – 5 = D and the meters + 1 = IJ.
[IJ = m + 1]

5. Looking up the hill you wonder how you are even going to get the Frisbee there. Take the fifth number = K.

6. Longest hole on the course, make sure not to go in the water. Take the ft and multiply by 3 and add 24 = EFG.
[EFG = ft * 3 + 24]

7. You hope you are getting close to finding the cache, but not before trying to place the Frisbee between two very imposing trees that are in the way of the basket. Take the ft – the meters subtract the par x 2 + 1 = MNO
[MNO = ((ft – m) – (par x 2 +1))]

The cache is a clear Tupperware container with a green lid. It may take some bushwacking to find it and watch out for poison ivy there is tons on the way to the cache, but none around it. Try and find an opening in the trees for better reception.
