An Island on the Apple River in Star Prairie conceals this cache.

Time to get your feet wet.

In the heart of Star Prairie is a beautiful park on the east side of the river. You will want to enter the river from the west side near the old dam. Entrance here looks like private property but is owned by the village. Park near the fire plug on the corner. I waded in today and the water was knee high but rapid like most trout streams. I just wore sandals, but you may want hip boots, waders, or a canoe. A wading staff would be a good idea. Experienced trout fisherpeople will find this a breeze and will want to bring a pole. Not at all for little kids. Water felt great on this 95 degree day. Distance of the wade is maybe 60 feet. Original contents include a glass bottle with penny, my own Cork Bug Travel bug, electrical tape, and some other of the usual. Take care in the spring. Please reset the cache as found. Kids here often.
