Geocache Description:

“The Central Park Super Cache” is a 10” x 20” waterproof barrel loaded with 1st class goodies. The first time finder will be very pleased with what is in the top bag with the logbook. Please bring a comparable gift for trading (the good stuff) and help keep this cache a super cache. The difficulty level will depend on your approach.

Unlike the center of this park, New York’s Central Park was the first landscaped public park in the United States. Advocates of creating the park--primarily wealthy merchants and landowners--admired the public grounds of London and Paris and urged that New York needed a comparable facility to establish its international reputation.

Here in the center of Alaskas own North Russian Jack Springs Park we have something very special to offer, a natural retreat in the city from the city. It may not be the attractive setting for carriage rides and provide working-class folks with a healthy alternative to the saloon. But, near the center of this park you will find one of the most desirable urban wonders of the world...”A Super Cache”.

Please treat this area with respect and make your footprint as small as possible and don't trample down the grass. Study the list of items in the cache first and then bring a comparable gift for trade. I have seen many moose in the area along with other wildlife. I think bears would like this place...Boo! Please take your time and enjoy the contents of the cache in the woods.

Items in the “Central Park” Super Cache are as follows:

A blanket for spreading out all the goodies (don't use it if the ground is wet and please shake off the dirt and grass before placing it back)
