Geocache Description:

Cedar Beach nature trail

This is a beautiful site, it is a nature trail located at cedar beach. There is a beautiful view of the sound and on a clear day you can see CT. Trail is paved so anyone can do it even a wheelchair. Cache is a rubbermaid Black container 4x7x3 with a Black top. the difficulty is a 4 because the container is all black and hard to see and because this is a very highly traveled area. There is also a parking fee during the summer if you're not a Brookhaven resident but it is well worth it if you spend the day. there are basketball courts and a playground for the kiddies. A great pier to fish from or just to watch the boats come and go. Excellent place to watch the sun set, and the nature trail is pristine. There is poison ivy by the cache and I think I saw some on the way in so please be careful. Original contents are 5 or 6 race cars and 5 holiday magnets. and as always the log book. Good luck and watch out for the muggles.
