After my popular but short-lived Water's Edge cache (waypoint GCBF33) finally succumbed to the rigors of wear and tear of its hide location (specifically, fire ant infestation!), I decided to archive that one and introduce this replacement cache in a new hide location in the same general area, so that finders of the previous one, as well as new finders, can come enjoy this location again.
Enjoy the really nice view of Biloxi's Back Bay while you search for this cache. As with all my Coast-area caches, your biggest challenge will be to locate and log this without detection from onlookers.
You may find "cacher tracks" to the hide location, but if you haven't seen a hide like this before, this may take you a little while. I got the idea for this technique from a cache hidden by WE4NCS that I found while caching in North Carolina recently.
If possible, please replace the cache log sheet in the *lid* portion of the capsule and then replace the *base* portion over the log, to make it easier for future finders to access the log sheet (even if a finder before you replaced it in the *base* and made it tough for you to get the log sheet out...please help...thanks!).
***12/28/03 UPDATE: New coords due to cache relocation to a nearby hide spot with better natural camo. See 12/28/03 log entry below.
