B & C Cache Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

trippy1976: Archived Cache Rescue Mission: When a Geocache is archived in Michigan, MiGO (Michigan Geocaching Organization) makes a commitment to tracking those archived caches where the proper removal of the cache container cannot be confirmed through log entries or by other means.

If the information is inconclusive as to the fate of the geocache, it will be listed on the MiGO Archived Cache Rescue Mission list to ensure that it is on our radar screen and eventually a MiGO member will visit the site and verify that it is gone. Having your cache on this list is not a derogatory comment about anyone's ability to maintain their caches. It is simply a list that is maintained to ensure that no geocaches in Michigan become geotrash.

MiGO members will go out to cache sites and verify that the containers have been removed or they will collect them if still present and recycle them. This ensures that no Geocache in Michigan ever becomes litter.

If you are the owner and can confirm the cache was removed, please email me via my profile with the GC# or name and I will remove it from the list.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is a 3-part multi-cache that will expose you to the non-urban side of Royal Oak as well as teach you a bit about some of its history. The 3 sites are close enough for those who want to make a bike trip out of the hunt but also has free parking for those who prefer to motor. It will also require you to perform some very elementary addition, so a writing implement and paper will come in handy (a calculator is not necessary).

Parking for the first cache is readily available at N 42° 32.254 and W 83° 10.581. Start the search at this point. The first cache is a small cylindrical container (3” high, 4.75” in dia.), painted brown that will contain directions on how to proceed from there. Please do not leave any items in the first cache, as it is too small to hold much. Save your goodies for the final cache.

The final cache is a 12” x 8.5” x 3.5” Rubbermaid container also painted brown with “geocaching.com” on the lid.

The final cache originally contained:

- A log book with pen and pencils
- A disposable camera – take a picture of yourselves with the cache!
- Various Happy Meals toys
- Heinz refrigerator magnet
- An adjustable wrench
- Two toy soldiers
- A reading light
- A tennis ball
- A golf ball
- Post-it notes
- A clothes pin
