Tecolote Toybox2 Traditional Cache
The Dillon Gang: lots of DNF logs. it is a really neat place we just don't have time to get back to. enjoyed keeping this billcat cache alive so long.

Located in a beautiful part of Tecolote Canyon. Cache is in the orginal container from Tecolote Toybox. However, it is camoed to blend in to the surroundings. At this time there is minimal poison oak in the new area and several trails without poison oak on them lead to it. Depending on which trail you pick the terrain difficuly can increase up to a 4. Also there is a creek crossing on certain trails.
This cache was originally hidden on 3/25/2001 by billcat at the following coordinates:

• A disposable camera(take your picture.) PLEASE! Don't take the camera.
This cache was lost for about 8 months when we decided to see if we could find it (yeah right). Well, we did…in the midst of an abundant crop of poison oak. The cache was plundered by someone or something (lots of teeth marks on the container). After talking with Billcat by email, we decided to adopt this cache and move it out of the poison oak area. This is a really neat part of Tecolote Canyon. It is now located in a shaded area by the stream that could be a great picnic area after caching.
PLEASE: Do not leave food/toiletry items (soap, lotion) in the cache so that the hungry critters don’t get curious.
