This cache is located just off a paved walking trail that runs from the old guy "mooning Homewood" (still under restoration at placement) down to 11th Place South. Ground level, but watch the dropoff close by, especially if you brought children along. Walk further down the path to see "The Club" and a great view of downtown Birmingham.
This is our first cache. Hope you find it worthwhile. It is in a Rubbermaid cylinder covered in camo duct tape. There are also some natural materials hiding the cache. The cylinder has a screw top. Please put it back on securely. Take a photo of yourself if you like, but please leave the camera in the cache.
When placed the cache contained:
Laminated Geocache instructions. (Please leave inside the cache after completing your visit)
Log book, pen, 2 pencils, and pencil sharpener. (Please leave these items inside the cache after completing your visit). Disposable camera. (Please take a photo of yourself and replace the camera in its ziplock and then back in the cache).
