Geocache Description:

Rocca della Verruca (Verruca Fortress), now ruins of a medieval castle on the summit of Monte Verruca.
You can go up by either Calci or Vicopisano but faster is the second way if you have a good car, not necessarily an off-road vehicle.
When you are in Vicopisano take the road near the cemetery.... the key is the name.
Go uphill, the second half of the run is a dirt road, don't worry and go easy but if you prefear you can continue on foot.
At N43 42.483 E10 32.502 visit the exciting ruins of S.Michele Abbey and then go straight along the path untill
N43 42.499 E10 32.364 where you can park your car.
You can't mistake, go along the single track into the wood and big stones and in few minutes you will hunt.

Don't forget: the coordinates are on the perfect vertical of the cache and you will be need of a flashlight, a pair of boot and a binoculars for enjoy the 360 degree view from the top of "Rocca della Verruca".
