Geocache Description:

An easy cache to celebrate one of history's greatest naturalists.

This 36.8 mile trail in Rabun County is only a small link in a once envisioned 2550 mile trail, which would have wound through eight southeastern states. The goal of this trail was to trace, wherever possible, the route traveled by the famous eighteenth century naturalist for which the trail is named.

You'll do best if you park at the "Conflicted Adult Female Dell" and head north about 2.5 miles. Two spectacular waterfalls can be seen along the way. You backpackers will find some sweet camping spots too.
