Geocache Description:

A traditional cache that will require a 4WD to access. The terrain is a sandy track that takes you though to a spectacular coastline.

The cache is a lunchbox containing a selection of Music CDs. I won a raffle at a local community radio station, my 1st prize was a selection of promotional CDs that were surplus to their requirements. Unfortunately (mostly due to my age) I am not a big fan of some of the stuff. There is of course a notebook and writing implements. The lunchbox is wrapped in a white plastic bag to assist weather proofing.
The track itself when we were there was in good shape, nicely compacted wheel tracks. However I can image it could loosen up in summer as it dries out. So I would recommend 4WD vehicles only (hence the high difficulty rating. There is a sign reminding people that recoveries will cost $20 by I assume the local farmer. Be warned... Once parked the short walk is easy and suitable for all.
To find the track turn off Caves Rd at Kilcarnup Rd (S33 56.358 E 115 01.042). Turn left at the fork (1.3km).
27/12/07: I understand the pen has expired. If the next explorer would be kind enough to take a pencil with them to leave behind would be much appreciated. Haywat.
