Geocache Description:


All the co-ordinates have been stuck to man made objects. Each co-ordinate will lead you to another object, and the last object will have the co-ordinates of the Cache. There are 3 of these objects. Counting the cache that means you have 4 items to find.

From start to finish it’s about 2kms (round trip). A pleasant walk, but can also be done by car if you don’t need the exercise (however if you do decide to use the car, there is a lovely little maze of Cul De Sacs to keep you honest). There is a car park very near the first object (the initial co-ordinates), so if you are walking, leave your car here and head off.

To protect against vandals and accidental removal, I have placed the co-ords in two places on each object. Firstly, at the back of the object, high enough to be out of reach of children (some adults too!). Secondly, at the base of the object sometimes hidden by grass or soil. Not perfect, but I’m an optimist. I will also keep a regular watch to see if any go missing.

The actual cache is in the surrounds of a lovely little park adjacent to the river. In the true spirit of a multi cache I will not give away the co-ords of the final location. There are a few little goodies for young and old (see cache contents picture) to hopefully make the hunt worth while.
