The original being lost, I have replaced this cache with a new one in a different spot further away from the beaten path. Located close to a lovely water fall on the Wepawaug river, within the Alice Newton Street Memorial Park in Woodbridge, CT. The park is a really a forest preserve with a network of trails. The cache is near the falls, approximately .6 miles from the trail head at 41 21.293 N, 073 00.788 W., next to the historic Woodbridge town green.
This is a popular walking spot, so the old location was too accessible to the masses. Now there is a natural barrier that should keep most people away. Kids under 6 might have trouble with the last bit.
