Geocache Description:

The cache is located in the Sumter National Forest along the Palmetto Trail. It can be reached by starting at the trail head at the Brickhouse camp ground or it can be reached by getting closer by road. It will be located off of SC Hwy. 32 Jalapa Rd. and turn onto Shannon Rd. also marked as US Forestry road 362. A short stretch down the gravel road will bring you to where the Palmetto Trail crosses the road. It is a 10 to 12 minute drive on Jalapa Rd. from I-26.

The cache is located off of the Palmetto Trail. The Trail leads from the mountains of SC to the sea. The cache is a small tupperware container. The original items in the cache are as follows:

A log book and pen (to stay with the cache)
A mini pocket knife
A letter opener
AN eraser
A box of push pins
A 1926 wheat penny
