Lactodorum: Rather than keep this cache temporarily disabled (which should only be used for shortish periods) I'm archiving it. If/when the cache is ever replaced I'll gladly unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Millington wood contains an ancient ash wood which has long been used to produce charcoal, and as well as being botanically interesting, it is also an important wildlife habitat. The walk through the woods takes you on a route that involves climbing quite a few steps and several benches have been placed to allow for a breather or two.

We decided to place this cache as we are flying one-way to Perth (Australia) on the 15th September 2003 and we wanted to leave a little something behind. This means that the cache will become an orphan, if anyone could look after this cache for us we would be very grateful.

The original cache contents were:

Sunny the Travel Bug, Heart paper clips, Plastic horse, Toy tractor, 'Fat controller', A shell, Tape measure, Kaleidoscope, Picasso rubber, 'retro' badges and spare batteries for GPS.

Sunny the Travel Bug's mission is to join us in Perth, see if you can help to get him there.

Hope you like the wood, The Smiths.

P.S. There were some farmer boys snooping nearby when we placed the cache, so it will be a relief to see the first find.
