The area is a nature reserve run by the Dorset Wildlife Trust. We suggest that you park at their Information Centre at Pound Cottage (N50 47.331, W002 38.079).
Although the cache is only 1/3rd of a mile from the car park, it is possible to spend a pleasant hour or two walking around the sites 437 acres. Wear boots in wet weather and please keep dogs on leads at all times during the ground nesting season (Apr to Jul) and when sheep or cattle are around. The bulls are run with the cows!
