Cache is located at a great look off. There are several vertical cliffs in the area so be sure to have control of your dog/small child, lest he/she plummets 50 feet or more to the bottom.
There are two parking areas that provide access to the cache site. I’ll let you determine which one is easier!
The trail is very rugged and strewn with boulders and large tree roots. It skirts the top of a high cliff (with a very large boulder perched on top), here you will sometimes see rock climbers testing their skill, equipment and faith. Continue past this area following the overgrown trail to the cache site.
WARNING: Between April and mid summer Ticks have been found in this park. The ticks captured and tested by DNR did not carry lime Disease at that time. Be sure when visiting the area that you check yourself and your pets carefully.
