In 1995, Fox video released the movie Fern Gully. It tells a story of how mans greed takes away that which is really important. Something similar almost happened very near here. This is a cache for all my hiking friends.Oz, Campy, slegal, Faveral, Big Eagle, The Borgts and you know who the rest of you are. It took me an hour to finally get the coords that I got. So I promise nothing as far as accuracy. If you get in trouble, use a lifeline, call me. Tree cover is heavy, so find a clearing and go from there. For those of you who were on the Santa Barbara trip, you know what you are looking for. Re-hid the cache today 5/31/04. It now requires no rock scrambling and is in plain sight when you are at the bottom of the falls. The contents seem to keep disappearing but the container seems to stay. So to claim a find, you must email me the number you find on the inside of the container. Enjoy the area it is beautiful year round. About four miles round trip. No rock scrambling and no bushwhacking. Lots of poison oak in the area, but none at the cache site as of 5/31/04.
