umc: I'm archiving this cache along with others in Heritage park due to a recent email I received from a Farmington hills park person regarding caches in their park. Hopefully we can work something out with them to allow caches but for now the ones that are there will need to be retrieved. Thank you for your corporation.

Geocache Description:

This cache is in Woodland Hills nature park in Farmington Hills.

This cache is a medium size rubbermaid box. It is about 1/4 mile from the parking lot along the Wildflower trail. There should be maps available near the trail head, but the trails seem to be well marked. Make sure you replace it as we left it, so it is not out in the open. Please take care not to disturb the area around the cache. After you find the cache, take time to walk a little farther and check out the creek. The park hours are from dawn to 1/2 hour before dusk. Also, no pets of any kind are allowed in the park.
Note: Sometimes this park is locked, when it should be open. The parks department says the park ranger is allowed to leave it locked when the trails are too muddy, to reduce the damage to the trails and prevent injuries.
