BBC 2 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

millenniumtree: It's had a good run.

Cache was found July 30th in good condition, but the forest around the cache has had some impact in the almost 4 years it has been there.

We want to thank everyone who has visited BBC2. With the loss of BBC1, we were concerned that we could lose both cache's log books. A log change turned into a decache, given our recent lack of participation and the growing forest impact.

There remains the possibility of re-caching it somewhere closer to home to allow more frequent checkups.

Cheers,

--Millenniumtree and Mist

Geocache Description:

Park is open 5AM to 10PM Parking is available at: N 43 08.299 W 89 22.403 The cache is in the Lakeview Woods, a Dane County Park. No serious bushwhacking is required, but you may have to crouch. Please be gentle with the woods; if there is damage to the area, the cache will be moved or removed. The trails are chip-wood, so they may or may not be wheelchair accessible, but the cache is not.

BBC2 is a partner-cache to, and just a short walk from, BBC1. Mist and MillenniumTree placed these two caches because of the lack of good caches on the east side of Madison. Mist is originally from England, so we have decided to give the caches an English theme. There are some English items in the cache, but not everything. Please try to visit both caches, they're only about 600 feet away from each other. :) Initially placed in the cache: Crayola crayon calculator, Yellow rubber frog, Poseable Bart Simpson, box of matches from Harts Grocer in London, Year 2000 collectible spoon, 2 blue bungee cords, The Tiny Book of Time, 3CDS (Seal - Self Titled, Jefferson Starship - Deep Space/ Virgin Sky, CMJ New Music Monthly volume 65 January 1999.), and the Bearly Gittinby Travel Bug!!
