The 6,000-acre lake and almost 9,000 acres of adjacent wildlife area make Cedar Bluff State Park an excellent base camp for hunters, fishermen, and year-round explorers. High limestone bluffs provide spectacular scenery and a stunning rustic setting for all of the outdoor activities. Located just southeast of WaKeeney, Cedar Bluff Reservoir and State Park offers spectacular scenery, a paradise for water sports enthusiast and some of the finest upland game bird and water fowl hunting during the fall and winter months. Deer hunting with both archery and firearm equipment is also a sport of major importance.
The cache is a cammo ammo box located just a short distance from County road 474. Reaching the cache will require some climbing.
